My New Vocabulary!

I know there are statistics out there that have determined how many words a person speaks in a day.  But since I have had Thomas, I know my vocabulary content has reduced tremendously.  This is because I use the same words and phrases over and over again all day everyday.

Stop, get up, go over there, sit down, don’t touch that, not so loud, get that out of your mouth, potty?, eat? no, yes, stop that, get off of there, don’t do that, be nice, need a spanking? come here, sing, dance, Thomas, Otis (of Milo and Otis fame), bathtime, books, read, bedtime, ouch, you’re on my foot, snacks, cup……….and about five others I can’t think of right now.

I had someone ask me the other day if I was in the book club at work.  I told them that the only books I have time to read now are GoodNight Gorilla, Lulla Bye Lulla Bye Little One, Barney’s ABC’s and Llama Llama Red Pajamas.  I would be happy to discuss these at length at any time.
