Why Daddy Run?

This is the first time Thomas has put words together to make a sentence that I understood.

I told him that daddy ran outside to tell the exterminators something before they left and he seemed satified with that answer.

As a side note, I am recognizing that Thomas is at the stage where he needs “explanation” for a lot of things that I tell him and that he is beginning to put the pieces together. An example is that Thomas tries to hand me something from his carseat in the back of the car while I am driving.  I used to say..”Thomas you hold on to it for Mommy”. But today when he tried to hand me something I said “Thomas you will have to hold on to it, Mommy can’t take it because we may have a wreck”.  I could tell from his facial expression that I had given him more information and he was trying to figure out what a wreck was and that he needed to hold on to what he had so that we would not have one of those.

My baby is growing up!
