2009 Minority Health Fair
Eastgate Town Center
Saturday, August 15th, at 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

This is a free health fair targeted to the minority community where there are significant healthcare disparities.  The fair will be conducting free cholesterol and diabetes screenings, as well as HIV testing and blood pressure checks.

This is the perfect opportunity to have a few things checked out and determine if you need to make an appointment with your primary care physician.

There will also be a 1K fun walk which I will be participating in at 7:30am while pushing Thomas in his stroller.   Go to the link above for more information.  You must register by July 31st if you want to participate in any of the above mentioned screenings.
