Fellowship!

I had the opportunity, this past weekend, to have lunch with two of the women in the church. One was a deaconess who is a lady in her thirties and the other was a mature choir member who is also my Sunday School teacher.

I have found that taking the time to build relationships with the women of the church, outside of the church walls, can sometimes be a blessing within itself.

It is a growing process to learn how to maintain being a Christian woman and STILL being able to “hang with the girls” when the time is right.

We were able to discuss and learn things from each other that we may not have learned just only communicating inside the church. My Sunday School teacher gave the other lady and I good advice on raising children and shared some mistakes she made so that we may learn and not make the same mistakes.

We were able to laugh uninhibtedly (and loud) and just enjoyed the fellowship on being in the presence of other women who are on the same path that we are.

Christian women can still have fun too…..let’s not forget it!!!!
