Yummy Rice Krispies Easter Treats!

Part of being a Rice Krispies Ambassador, I have been challenged to create a Rice Krispies Easter/Spring-Themed Treat. This was a particularly exciting challenge for me because this will be the first time I have ever made Rice Krispies treats. I finally decided on a recipe that uses some of children’s favorite snacks.

AND HERE IT IS…………………………..!

My niece was the “top chef” for this challenge and we worked together to make what we call:

Yummy Tummy Easter Treats!!

What Are The Ingredients?

A box of Rice Krispies cereal, a box of Fruit Loops cereal, a package of 40 marshmallows, a bag of Chocolate/Turtle Chex Mix, and a box of Twizzlers.

How Do You Make It?
1. Melt 3 tablespoons of margarine in a large saucepan over low heat. Add 40 marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Mix in 3 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and 3 cups of Fruit Loop cereal (use whole and crushed pieces), about two handful of Chocolate-Turtle Chex Mix and chopped up pieces of Twizzlers.  Stir until well coated.

3. Spread the mixture using a buttered spatula into a buttered foil pan (the size and depth of your choosing).

4. Cut into squares and decorate when cool.

The kids will love it!!
