Why A Pharmacist Can Be Your Best Friend?!

by Kathy Sykes on April 28, 2010 · 4 comments

Are there ever times when you, your child, or a family member is not really sick but just have symptoms that you wish you could ask questions about?

That is when you can call your local pharmacist!!

Pharmacists are available, in many instances, 24 hours a day to assist patients with their medication and general health needs. I recommend that you establish a relationship with your personal retail pharmacist so that he/she is familiar with your health issues and current medications that you are taking.

That is why it is very important to use only ONE pharmacy that keeps records of all new and current medications. By doing so, the pharmacist can give the most informed recommendations for whatever issues you may be having.

Even though pharmacists are very busy on a daily basis, they are more accessible to answer your general questions than you doctor or doctor’s nurse may be.

Here at YOUR VIRTUAL PHARMACISTyou are welcome to leave comments and questions that you need answered and all questions will be addressed with in 72 hours. We look forward to building a relationship with our readers!

Thanks for posting this information. The pharmacist is my best friend. I consult her all the time to discuss health issues.

Sometimes we overlook our local pharmacist but they (we) have a wealth of information!
Thanks for your comment!

Pharmacist are medication specialist and they have a plethra of knowledge concerning disease states and the medications used to treat those diseases. If you have not developed a relaionship with your local pharmacist, make it a point to do so. It could make a great difference in your health and wellbeing.
