The hubby and I decided to take a very short get-away before Thomas starts Pre-K 3 in two weeks. We wanted to go to our regular lake resort but it was booked for the dates we needed. Instead we visited The Inn at Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA. Chateau Elan is a:

Hotel

Spa

Winery

Vineyard

And Culinary Resort. We dined on some of the finest cuisine in three of their restaurants and was pleasantly surprised with the flavors.

Now, I would not recommend the Chateau for the ultimate kids experience, but they do have a pretty nice pool.

There is a world class golf course on the property

And plenty to do in the way of fitness including a state-of-the-art fitness center, tennis courts, and nature/serenity walking trails

Some parts of the trail were a little bit too“woody” (we got hit in the face by a couple of spider webbs) and you can tell by my hubby’s face that he was not into it!!! The picture is blurry because I was laughing my butt off!!

We did not get a chance to do a spa treatment but we did visit the facility and I can tell you that it would be well worth it for a nice pampering day to yourself or a girls weekend trip.

I do recommend visiting C.E.-Chateau Elan whenever you are in the Braselton area of Georgia.

I have heard so much about Chateau Elan but I have never been there. I am going to try to make it out there. Looks like you guys had a great time.
