Eat, Pray, Love!

Eat, pray, love: one woman's search for everything across Italy, India, and Indonesia [Book]Yes, I am reading the book. And so far, I am totally ready to sell my house and travel to far away places (with my family) in order to live without boundaries. Can this happen for me too? Why not?

When you read the title of the book, it really throws it in your face that this is all we want to be doing anyway…….EATING, PRAYING, AND LOVING!!!! What a wonderful life.

I was discussing the title of the book with my therapist (hairdresser) the other day and she said that people already have the eating and loving part down. It is the praying where we fall short. Hhhmmmm……???? If we spent as much time and energy praying as we did eating and loving, our lives would begin to become more fulfilled.

Eating sustains our bodies, Loving sustains our souls and Praying sustains our spirit (heart/mind)!

We don’t have to go to Italy, India and  Indonesia to have the mindset of Eat, Pray, Love because that is exactly what it is…..a mindset, mind-change, made up mind. If we are able to go these places then fantastic but we can start small, within our homes, in our churches and communities.

EAT, PRAY, LOVE……EAT, PRAY, LOVE…….EAT, PRAY, LOVE………EAT, PRAY, LOVE…….!!!! Keep saying it over and over and it will become a part of you.

First Lady Kathy,

I’m going to post this on the Girlfriends Pray Facebook page. Loved the book, loved the movie, love to pray!

I agree with you 100%. If we just prayed a little more, if we have the faith of a mustard seed, We could see and live our lives like God intended. Thanks for the post.

I read this book about a year ago and I must say, self-examination slapped me in the face. Such a life changing and reaffirming idea at the same time. E-P-L people, E-P-L!
