Resources For Continual Learning At Home!

As moms, we are always looking for the latest and greatest things that will support our children’s growth, but there are so many services and items out there that you don’t know where to start.

My motto is “To Start With What You Have!!!!

So many of the things that we already have in our homes or around our communities can be vital resources for teaching our children (without the extra expenses). That is why I began consulting other childcare providers (parents, families, churches, etc.) on how to compliment a child’s education at home.

Parent/caregiver involvement is the number one thing required. Without a strong home environment that supports continued growth, then the bridge from school to home is broken and so is the learning curve. I will say up front that it is not easy. It is not always easy to find that extra 45 minutes to an hour per day to dedicate to our child’s learning with our work and life responsibilities. But we must find a “dedicated time” that works for our family IF we are going to make LEARNING a priority.

You will find many tips and resources here to help you maneuver your life around your child’s learning. I am excited to start sharing what I have found and for others to contribute what works for their household.
