Keeping in line with my Recycling theme from the past few posts, I wanted to share one other way to “reuse” a product in an efficient manner.
I am a huge Iman Cosmetics fan and it is pretty much the only line of makeup I wear because the coverage is incredible. Iman’s products are carried at Walgreen’s drug stores and are a little on the pricey side, about $15, for drug store cosmetics (but well worth the price).
I love her foundation stick in Clay 5.
Since I use my foundation everyday, I tend to run out quickly. But, as with many cosmetics, there is “plenty” of makeup still remaining in the packaging if you take the time to use it.
I can get about two to three weeks more worth of foundation out of the container by using a cotton swab. I primarily use my “remaining” foundation for under eye highlights or touch-ups to cover blemishes. Again, since Iman Cosmetics has such great coverage, you do not need to use a lot to get the effect you are looking for.
