Christmas is my favorite holiday and Winter is my “second” favorite season of the year (Fall being the first). During this time of the year, I am eager for the temperature to drop, so that I can make my home as cozy as possible for my family. Some of the things that I have done to enjoy the comforts of our home during the holidays are:

1. Bought an electric fireplace for the living room so that my family and friends can gather there for games, hot chocolate and fellowship. The Christmas holiday is the one time a year that I “must” get together with my girlfriends to catch up on what has been going on during the year. With the hectic school and work schedules during the year, we don’t get a chance to see each other as much as we would like. And there is nothing better than getting old friends and new friends together to share Christmas cheer.

2. Decorate my home with things that are fun for children AND adults! My family tradition has always been to spend Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning together (all fifteen of us and whoever else is in town). We blow up air mattresses and put down sleeping bags so that everyone can wake up together on Christmas morning.
3. Make yummy things to eat. Isn’t eating one of the best parts of the holidays? The kids love to make sweet treats and cookies for Santa and the adults cook something different and special for our Christmas Eve dinner.
Who doesn’t want their home to be inviting and comfortable for everyone during the holiday season since this is a time to laugh, love, and give back.

Comfort is the perfect gift for everyone on your holiday gift list, so be sure to take advantage of Tempur-Pedic’s Buy 2, get 1 free pillow offer! I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective.
