Christmas Decorating! Blending Your Home with Christmas Items!

What is your strategy for decorating during Christmas? Do you totally redecorate your whole home or do you just incorporate key items into your already prepared home decor?

Well I do that latter because it can become very costly and timely to re-decorate the entire house every year. Here are some photos of key items I incorporate in certain areas of our home:

1. Of course, the Christmas tree!

I change the color scheme every year but am able to use the same ribbons, tree skirt, and accessories because I never choose colors too far from the ones that I love.

2. Living Room Fireplace mantle

Our mantle always has family quotes or sayings placed there along with candles, so I just add my angels and other centerpieces for that Holiday flavor.

3. Living Room Accent table

My baby boy’s school picture is always there along with some other church sculptures and candy dishes. I always add our nativity scene to it.

4. Bedroom Doors

All doors have poinsettia door decor. The bell can be somewhat annoying sometimes but who’s ever in a bad mood during Christmas?

5. Inside Entrance

Mr. and Mrs. Clause is always there to greet our guests

6. Bathroom

Candles and angels are always in the bathroom but with the added Santa’s just makes it feel like Christmas!

7. Table Setting

I keep my table set with Christmas cheer just for those occasions when we break bread with friends and family.

Hope you enjoyed the tour of our Christmas Home!
