Have you thought about what type of Christmas cards your family will send this year? Well, you better get started and I have some great ideas for you.
Here is our family’s Christmas card for 2011:
I had the great opportunity to use Shutterfly to personalize my holiday card this year. What I wanted to do was show family and friends updated pictures of our family and some of the events that took place in 2011. Our card shows our son during a BIG snow we had early in the year, a picture of he and his dad in Las Vegas, a picture of me and baby boy at a preschool museum event, a picture of my husband and I, and a silly picture of Thomas (with his daddy’s glasses on).
Other great ideas would be to either put pictures of summer events, vacation photos, school functions or just silly photos. This keeps your friends and family “in the loop” of what’s going on in your life.
You still have time to get your own personalized Christmas cards. You can use Shutterfly like I did or there are also other sites such as Tiny Prints that do a great job. And if you are waiting to the last minute and need to print your own, just download your personal photos from your SD card and have them printed off at your local Walgreens.
