Girl Scout Cookies! The Do’s And Don’ts!

It’s that time of the season again…….Girl Scout Cookie Sale! If you are anything like me and the rest of America, this can be a very tempting time in our lives. Some of us may need rehab after this but I am here to give you some tips on how to handle Girl Scout Cookie Time!

  1. Don’t say yes to everyone who asks you to buy cookies! It is for a very good cause, but you will end up like my tax accountant who had thirteen…YES 13 boxes of cookies sitting on his desk. It is almost for certain that they will all be eaten.
  2. If you do order, do not buy more than one box. I know this is hard to do, but again, if you are anything like me, more than one box is the DEVIL!
  3. Do not work on your computer with an open box of Girl Scout cookies close by (like I am doing now). Before you know it, you will be wondering what happened to all of the cookies.
  4. If you do eat some of the cookies, have a designated “watcher” to tell you when “enough is enough”. These are worse than Lay’s potato chips.
  5. If co-workers bring boxes and leave them in the break room…….LOOK AWAY AND BACK OUT SLOWLY!!!

Friends don’t let friends eat in BULK!!!!!

I paid for three boxes and asked the Seller to give to their local nursing home or senior center. Folks on fixed incomes want cookies too and they now have cookies for all health statuses. Felt good supporting the girl scouts without adding calories and weight to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now if I can get my hubby to adopt this policy. LOL

That is a great way to support and not get overwhelmed by the goodness!
