My Daily “Report” From Pre-K!

by Kathy Sykes on March 29, 2012 · 4 comments

I guess this will be no surprise to moms with boys, but they are more school drama than girls. Everyday, during pickup, I wait to see what the report of the days events will be. It is usually something like this:

  • Thomas drank out of Taylor’s juice box
  • Taylor put slobber on Thomas’ arm
  • Will threw an eraser at Thomas
  • Thomas had silent lunch because he wouldn’t stop talking
  • Sydney and Thomas’ names were on the board for not sitting still
  • Taylor scratched Thomas on the playground
  • Thomas bit Taylor’s finger because his was poking it in and out of his face

Never a dull moment — from a middle school MOM to U — each year brings a new set of reality short crew vinettes. Don’t get it twisted, GIRLS can keep MOM cranked up too.

Through each tough moment, Thomas is learning how to handle the situation the next time and one day soon; there will not be any unsettling daily reports sent home.

Thomas enjoy SPRING BREAK!!
