March is Nutrition Month and as Your Virtual Pharmacist I thought that I would bring a few things to your attention. This is the perfect time of year to begin to get your healthy living in gear. Not only should we take care of ourselves by regularly taking our vitamins and exercising at least 30mins per day/three days a week, but we need to focus on what we are putting in our bodies.
I thought this was a cool poster from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics at eatright.org that states that we need to Get Our Plates In Shape!
We all know that we need to eat the proper servings of fruits, vegetables, grains and lean meats. But are we really doing this on a regular basis?
