Meditation Monday! Building Christian Character In Your Child!

We as parents can get consumed with having our children participate in every activity, educational program, and online sites in order to make them “competitive” in this world.

We all know how important education is but let’s not forget the importance of our children having a strong and solid faith. If your child has this, it will also make him/her competitive in this world.

I know from experience that by possessing kindness, humbleness, generosity, and sacrifice as character traits, it will take you a long and successful way in life.  Doors will open and opportunities will come to those who display good Christian character.

My goal/prayer for my son is that if he can’t be ANYTHING ELSE, that he be a “good” person. A “good” person for me exemplifies all of the qualities that I mentioned above.

We must walk the walk everyday in life so that our children can “see” what it means to be a Christian and what it means to display Christ-like behavior.

We don’t get it right everyday, but the majority of our lives must be based on the foundation of His Word.

No if, ands, or buts about it.
