Transition Boys Outerwear From Winter To Spring

Depending on where you live, it is time to start thinking about transitioning your boys outer gear from Winter to Spring.

  • Those of you who live anywhere between Midwest and New England are still getting hit with some pretty cold Winter storms. Your boys are probably still rocking their stylish sleeveless puffy vests seven days per week.
  • The Southeast/Appalachian boys have a little bit of both worlds. Winter is still rearing its head so that your boy is either in a puffy vests a few days per month, a cargo jacket for that extra something on the weekends and probably a thick sweater or hoodie to school.
  • The Pacific Coast/Southwest boys can pretty much pull off windbreakers and light plaid jackets during the day. Every boy should have their rainy day gear ready for those April showers coming soon.

Here are some of the outwear styles that I think will be “hot” for boys this Spring

 Spring outerwear formal

I love these jackets because you have a mix of tailored, preppy and classic for any occasion.

Spring outerwear casual

These outerwear scream COLOR is what is “in” for boys in 2013.

Luckily, since we can anticipate the changing of seasons from year to year, it is best to invest in great outerwear that can work for your son over multiple years.
